Dr. CarolLaine M García

Dr. CarolLaine M García is an AfroLatina Holistic Executive Coach, Speaker, and Writer. Using her expertise from her PhD in organizational psychology and a decade of elite leadership consulting within prominent Fortune 500 firms, Dr. García is on a mission to put the heart + soul back into leadership. As the first and only female PhD in her Dominican-American immigrant family, Dr. García uses her vibrant cultural herstories and  holistic healing experiences to model and teach leading with Queen Mindset Leadership. Queen Mindset Leadership is a comprehensive philosophy and practical approach created by the author for achieving self-actualization in the modern era, centering self-connection and holistic self-compassion. She partners with equity-minded organizations to facilitate transformative workshops, holistic leadership retreats, speaking engagements, and coaching containers for high achieving Latinx and BIPOC business leaders.

Fay Hanleybrown

  • she/her/hers

    Fay Hanleybrown has nearly 20 years of experience advising foundations, corporations, and nonprofit clients across a range of issues, including strategy development, organizational alignment, and evaluation.

    Fay established FSG’s west coast presence when she opened the San Francisco office in 2002. She currently leads FSG’s Seattle office and Collective Impact approach area. She has advised a variety of clients, including private foundations, community foundations, private corporations, and nonprofits across a range of critical issues including education, global development, community philanthropy, and corporate social responsibility. Recent clients include the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Microsoft, The Ford Family Foundation, The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and the Community Center for Education Results. She has also led a number of engagements focused on designing and launching cross-sector collaborations. Fay speaks regularly about philanthropic effectiveness, collective impact, and shared measurement.

David Claps,

  • he/him

    David joined FSG with cross-sector experience in financial planning & analysis, program operations, and strategy consulting. He has a deep background in the intersections of arts & culture and impact, and has an emerging knowledge base and interest in food access and food insecurity. In his consulting work, David has advised clients on strategy and program feasibility in the areas of social services, shared services, and LGBTQ services, among others.

    David spent several years in nonprofit management, focusing on finance and operations. He worked on the production team of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and was responsible for financial management and execution of the organization’s domestic and international touring. While at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business earning his MBA, David diversified into impact areas outside of arts & culture, most notably working as student consultant to an impact investing firm, leading the university’s annual impact conference, and acting as a fellow with the Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship. After graduating, David began consulting with Social Impact Architects, working as a generalist consultant to nonprofits of various impact areas. Immediately prior to joining FSG, David worked with District of Columbia Public Schools where he focused on augmenting and implementing the district’s COVID-19 emergency food response.

Clare Shroder

    Clare is a social impact leader and strategist with over 10 years of experience in global and US health, equity, and systems change. She is experienced in strategy development and execution, change management, strategic partnership and collaboration, and strategic learning and evaluation.

    As a Director in FSG’s health practice, she works with both corporate and philanthropic clients focused on creating healthy populations. She brings deep expertise in the health space across sectors (e.g., pharma/biotech, philanthropy, health systems) and topic areas (e.g., behavioral health, women’s health, oncology). Clare has successfully led engagements with clients such as Katz Amsterdam Foundation, Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health, Natrona Collective Health Trust, and several multinational corporations.

    Clare takes pride in supporting the learning and growth of clients and team members alike, and she is committed to building a strong core of social impact and systems change leaders.

Michael Webb

  • he/him/his

    Michael joined FSG with a background in program development, evaluation research, and strategic planning. He is passionate about building cross-sector partnerships, advancing equity, and developing evaluation tools to strengthen the impact of social change initiatives. As a consultant, Michael collaborates with clients to develop strategic solutions that advance equitable progress on complex social problems.

    Prior to FSG, Michael served with Women Political Leaders developing programs and coordinating social research to advance the number and influence of women in positions of political leadership across the globe. Michael was selected as a 2020 McLarty Scholar, serving with Vital Voices Global Partnership, where he conducted evaluation research focused on women’s leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic. During his time at the Clinton School of Public Service, Michael collaborated with the Arkansas Homeless Coalition to conduct an impact evaluation of the Transportation Alliance Project, an innovative cross-sector partnership focused on providing transportation services to persons experiencing homelessness—a key link to accessing an additional wide-range of services to meet their expressed needs. While an undergraduate student, he served as student body president, co-led a state-wide research study to better understand textbook affordability in higher education across Kansas, and advocated at the Kansas Board of Regents for a system-wide adoption of Open Educational Resources.

Rosa Sanchez

  • Rosa Sanchez, earned dual degrees in dance performance and psychology and works full time as the Director of Client Services for the Community Safety Network in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, providing a safe space to those impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. She started as a volunteer seven years ago, providing Spanish interpretation services after taking the organization’s advocacy training.⁠ Since August 2022 she has supported a team of 10 advocates, providing training and education, program enhancement, and interfacing with donors. ⁠Rosa’s favorite part of her role is being in that position of leadership and creating spaces for individuals to be decision makers, to have their voices amplified. She also teaches classes at Dancers’ Workshop and choreographs dances for quinceaneras. It helps her decompress from a day job where demand for the Safety Network’s assistance is growing.⁠

Rob Shearon

  • Robert “Rob” Shearon is a recovery and wellness coach at RECONNECTED Foundation with an emphasis on reintegration into higher education. Now based in his hometown of Vail, Colorado, Rob has lived and established strong recovery communities in New York City, Boulder, and Vail and has been in continuous recovery from all mood-altering substances since 2013. Rob developed and managed the collegiate recovery program at University of Colorado, Boulder from 2015-2022 and uses his experience from working in higher education to help students navigate the university setting while building a recovery community around them. Rob has a passion for combining the outdoors with people’s journeys in recovery, organizing events from week-long camping trips to national skiathons where over 300 college students resulted in lifelong connections that have helped maintain their recovery. Rob helps individuals create recovery plans for themselves where they are empowered to create SMART goals and hold themselves accountable. It is Rob’s mission to help clients realize that recovery can be fun and achievable. His purpose is to provide opportunity for others by connecting them with like-minded individuals which have the potential to be lifelong relationships.
